What is Magic Fair?

Santa Susanna’s Magic Fair is one of the most important cultural and leisure proposals in the Maresme area. This year it will be held the first weekend of July (2-3 July).

At Magic Fair you can find products and activities to increase the life of life, such as health products , food artisans, hand made products, minerals, workshops and places of entertainment for all ages, expositions, music, theater, poetry,  oracles, clown, and of course, a lot of MAGIC.

The Magic Fair activities are grouped in different areas:

Magic is the spine of the Fair. National and international performances have an appointment every year in the program.

Regarding this area, the Magic Fair has hosted the best magic performances winners of prestigious awards in the country and the world.

This year we will have the opportunity to enjoy during two days the magic performances that will amaze and surprise us !

The Sociocultural area is one the areas with a bigger evolution from the beginning. The Postal Art create an exposition with works arrived from more than 30 different countries.  The Net Art,  product of the new technologies in our lives, is the electronic version of Postal Art and has received works from all over the world.  The Fair also offers traditional expositions of different thematic issues and specially solidarity issues.

The Poetic-magic Night  allows us to enjoy the work of different poets from our country.

The cultural and artistic area is one of the most important areas of Magic Fair.  The best clowns, theater companies, poets, musicians, gospel groups … has visited us and offered their best performances.  We also remark the activities for children and familiar tourism such us magic, puppets, toy library, storytellers..

Natural health.  Is another area with many visitors. Situated behind the gardens of Masia de Can Ratés, where you can find traditional medicines,  massage area, physiotherapists, relaxing…  The target of organization is to get this area as a reference of quality and proposals.

The Artisans area is located at Fair boulevard and inside Masia de Can Rates. You can find different artisan products. In this area the visitor can find different artisan products,  and artisan food.

The Oracles area  is a space  for the prediction of future,  astrology, tarot, reading hands…  a selected oracles representation will help you to solve your doubts.

Laughter programming. Clowns, humour,  jugglers, monologuist .. with only one purpose: make the audience laugh.  Today we know that laughter is a source of health.  And the artists arrived from around the country and the planet take care of us with a big dosis of good humour.
